Welcome to SNAP Research

SNAP has developed a survey to better understand the emotional and stress implications of cross neurotype communication. This survey is conducted through the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. 

Study Information

What is involved?

  • You are being asked to complete several online surveys about your thoughts, feelings, Interest, and daily life, which should take 60 minutes to complete.

  • You can take breaks and continue at your pace where you left off

Purpose of the Study

  • The purpose of this research is to identify the emotional effects of conversations between autistic and nonautistic people.

  • Additionally, we look to learn the different opinions regarding technology and its abilities to help with communication between different types of thinkers.

  • The study will be for all teens and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to pave the way for better communication methods in various settings.

Elgibility

  • You have a self/medical diagnosis of ASD

  • You are 18-35 years old

  • You can read English at a 6th grade level or higher

Compensation

You will be eligible to earn up to $100 for participating in the study. Once you complete the survey, you will receive an email with more information on how to receive your plausible funds.
